Air Arabia seeks out UAE nationals
19 March 2011
Air Arabia, the region’s leading low cost airline and its affiliate, Sharjah Aviation Services, are proudly taking part this year in Careers UAE 2011, the country’s leading recruitment, training and skills development show for UAE nationals.
Open exclusively for UAE nationals and HR practitioners, Careers UAE 2011 will be held in Sheikh Saeed Halls at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC). Taking place at 10am to 6pm from 21 – 23 March 2011, visitors will be able to speak directly with representatives from Air Arabia at stand number SAF-1.
Air Arabia remains committed to recruiting local talent in the UAE. Already, a strong proportion of the airline’s management staff, pilots and technical teams are UAE nationals. As the UAE’s economy continues to grow, UAE nationals have many incredible opportunities to join young and dynamic companies such as Air Arabia and Sharjah Aviation Services, one of the largest employers in the region. During 2010 alone, both companies handled over 5.5 million passengers and transported over 360 thousand tones of cargo.
Careers UAE 2011 provides UAE nationals and HR professionals with a unique venue in which to network and discover life-changing opportunities. The three-day event will host 110 exhibitors spread across a record 12 sectors and industries including: government and semi-government; finance; education and recruitment; trade and commerce; oil and gas; transportation; telecoms; ministries; training and HR. Due to increased labour market demand, this year for the first time ever, IT and hospitality sectors have been introduced, offering visitors ever greater opportunities to take part in the UAE’s exciting economy.
