Adel Ali named ‘Business Leader of the Year’ at Middle East Accountancy and Finance Excellence Award

Adel Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, has been named “Business Leader of the Year” at the inaugural Middle East Accountancy and Finance Excellence Awards. Ali, CEO of the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, collected the award during a ceremony held in Dubai.
Organised by ICAEW, a professional membership organisation supporting over 136,000 chartered accountants around the world, the Awards celebrate the very best of the accountancy and finance profession in the Middle East. Ali received the award in recognition of establishing Air Arabia as the region’s number one low-cost airline.
Commenting on the receiving the award, Ali said: “I am proud to collect this award on behalf of the entire Air Arabia team. Air Arabia’s proven business model has enabled us to expand into new markets and ventures, while continuing to provide millions of passengers with the most reliable value-for-money air travel options in the wider region.”
