Booking
We strive to ensure the utmost comfort and convenience for families traveling with infants.
To make a booking for an infant, select the number of infants traveling with you during the booking process on our website, www.airarabia.com, or through our 24-hour call center, sales offices, or partner travel agents. Infants are classified as children under the age of two years.
Age Restrictions and Requirements
- Infants below 48 hours (2 days) old: Infants will not be accepted for travel under any circumstances.
- Infants from the 3rd day to the 6th day: Infants are accepted for travel with a Fit to Fly certificate for the infant or an Indemnity form signed by the parent.
- Infants 7 days or older: Infants are accepted without any restrictions.
Please note: For safety reasons, every infant must be accompanied by a passenger who is at least 16 years old.
Fare
If your child is under 2 years old, he or she can travel on your lap on any flight at a minimal rate. To check the applicable rate for your selected destination, please contact us.
If you would like your infant (under 2 years of age) to travel in an individual seat next to yours, please contact us to reserve the seat.

Baggage
Traveling with an infant just got easier! When flying with a little one under two years old, you’re entitled to bring an extra standard-sized hand baggage of up to 3 kg, packed with all the essentials your baby may need during the flight. Ensure this additional bag fits comfortably under the seat in front of you. Declare the extra baggage at the check-in counter and attach personal item tags for a smooth process.
Traveling with a Stroller
Keep your little one’s comfort in mind as you travel! You can use your child’s stroller throughout the airport, but please hand it over to our staff before boarding. Rest assured, it will be returned to you as soon as you land.
Please note: Baby stroller is not included in baggage allowance unless submitted at the time of check-in along with other baggage.
Accompanying Passenger
Children over 12 years old can travel alone, but if your child is under 12, they must be accompanied by a passenger who is at least 16 years old.
Important: For the safety of our youngest travelers, each infant must be accompanied by an adult. We’re committed to ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for all our passengers.

Bassinet Availability and Enhanced Comfort
Traveling with an infant is made easier with our bassinets that offer a secure and comfortable space for your baby during the flight. The bassinets are available for first-row passengers, providing an added convenience for families. During the flight, should turbulence occur, our crew will ensure the bassinet is safely stowed away.
Please note: To reserve or use a bassinet, you need to be seated in a front row. To secure one, please contact our customer service team to pre-book your seat in advance. Pregnant Women
Air Arabia accepts pregnant women for travel up to the end of their 35th week of pregnancy, provided they present a medical certificate stating the number of weeks of pregnancy and confirming they are fit to fly. The certificate must be signed by a doctor and is valid for 14 days from the date of issuance.
- End of 35th week: Travel accepted with a medical certificate.
- Beyond 36th week: Travel not accepted.
- Twins, triplets, etc.: Travel should be completed by the end of the 32nd week, including return flights.
