Below are the connecting routes we offer and some important things which you should know when booking your flight and the specific travel guidelines for every country.

Transit travel guidelines

  • All UAE nationals, residents and visitors can now travel via Sharjah International airport.
  • Take COVID-19 PCR test within 96 hours of the flight departure time from the approved medical facility. Passengers below 12 years of age are exempt from the test. You should carry a copy of your negative test result during the full journey.
  • It is strongly recommended that in addition to our guidelines to check www.iatatravelcentre.com for the latest entry and exit requirements from local governments. If the requirements regarding the COVID-19 PCR test is different between the departing and arriving countries, you should follow the requirement which is most restrictive.
  • Wear medical masks and gloves at the airport, on board the plane, and in transit.
  • Follow our enhanced safety measures for a safe travel.

Before traveling to Pakistan

  • For flights on or after 05 October, all passengers are required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result at the time of check-in (except passengers traveling from Saudi Arabia) Passengers must travel within 96 hours of conducting the test. Children under the age of 12 & disabled passengers are exempt from the COVID-19 PCR test.
  • All passengers traveling to Pakistan should download and register to Pass Track through the mobile application or web portal before check-in. Children under the age of 12 & disabled passengers are not required to download the application. Passengers are also encouraged to print and fill the health declaration form before the flight.

Before traveling to Egypt

  • All passengers are required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result (printed and stamped) at the time of check-in. Passengers must travel within 72 hours of conducting the test. Children under the age of 6 are exempt from COVID-19 PCR testing.  
  • Passengers are also required to complete a declaration form available to download in English and Arabic.

Before traveling to Saudi Arabia

  • As per the directives from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, GCC Nationals and non-Saudi passengers holding a valid visa (exit/entry, residence, visit visa) are allowed on the flight. Passengers who have been to India, Brazil or Argentina in the last 14 days would not be accepted to board the flight
  • All passengers are required to present a printed physical negative COVID-19 PCR test result at the time of check-in. Passengers must arrive in Saudi Arabia within 48 hours of the test result time.
