Pregnant women
Air Arabia will accept pregnant women for travel up to the end of their 35th week of pregnancy provided that they present a medical certificate stating the number of weeks of the pregnancy and confirming she is fit to fly. The certificate must be signed by a doctor and is valid for 14 days from date of issuance.
We do not accept pregnant women once they reach the 36th week of their pregnancy. In case of twins, triplets… travel should be completed by the end of the 32nd week and therefore return flights should be completed before this time is reached.
Press Statement: Regarding Air Arabia flight Sharjah – Taif on March 17, 2016
Air Arabia spokesperson said: “Air Arabia flight G9185 bound for Taif (KSA) from Sharjah (UAE) today (March 17, 2016) was diverted to King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh after the smoke indicator was detected in the cargo compartment. As a precautionary measure and in keeping with safety standards, flight crew diverted the flight and all passengers & crew were safely evacuated on landing at King Khalid International Airport. On inspection of the aircraft, there was no fire detected. We regret any inconvenience caused.
