With Morafiq’s Home Check-In service, you can check in your luggage, select your seat, and receive your boarding pass and bag tags—all before heading to the airport. How Does Home Check-In Work?
Home Check-In is available for all non-transit passengers departing from Zayed International Airport, whether starting your journey or heading back home. To use this service, all travellers, including infants and children, must be present during the Home Check-In process.
- Register and book: To book Home Check-In, you'll need to register with MORAFIQ. The easiest way to do this is via the MORAFIQ app, available on the App Store or Google Play. Our service operates 24/7, allowing you to schedule Home Check-In up to five hours before your flight. Just let us know your preferred time for our check-in agents to arrive.
- We’ll collect your bags: Our agents will arrive at your location in Abu Dhabi within a 24-hour to five-hour window before your flight, based on the time slot you book. They will verify your travel documents, check you in for your flight, collect your bags, and provide your boarding pass and bag tags. You can pay for any additional baggage if needed.
- Make your way to the airport: With your check-in complete, you can head to Zayed International Airport without any baggage. Skip the queues and proceed directly to your gate.
- Collect your bags at your destination: Your bags will be ready and waiting for you when you land at your destination.

Home check-in packages
With Home Check-In, you only need to pay for the number of bags you want to check, regardless of the number of passengers. Simply choose how many bags you would like us to collect—whether cabin or checked baggage—and select the package that fits your needs.
Should you exceed the ticketed baggage allowance for any guest, you can effortlessly pay for any excess baggage.
Got more than 10 bags?
If you need to check in more than 10 bags, you can simply pay for additional baggage when our agents arrive.
Questions about Home Check-In?
Who is eligible to book Home Check-In?
Home Check-In is available for all non-transit guests travelling from Abu Dhabi International Airport. We will check you in from your home or hotel in Abu Dhabi, within 50km of Zayed International Airport.
Home Check-In is not available for:
- Unaccompanied minors
- Passengers requiring medical assistance
- Passengers travelling with pets and live cargo
- Unconfirmed bookings
I live in another Emirate but I’m travelling with Air Arabia from Abu Dhabi airport. Can I book Home Check-In?
Home Check-in is currently only available in Abu Dhabi.
Can I track my bags?
Yes, you can track your bags with the Morafiq app or in booking web portal.
Does Home Check-In include transport to the airport?
No, Home Check-In does not include transport to the airport. You will need to arrange your own transportation after your bags have been collected.
Can I add more bags or pay for extras like an upgrade?
Yes! you can pay for all extras, including excess baggage and upgrades, when you check in with our Home Check-in agent. Credit card is the only accepted method of payment.
Can I make changes to my Home Check-In booking?
You can make changes to your booking up to six hours before your scheduled pick-up or collection time. For a full refund, you must cancel your Home Check-in booking up to 24 hours of your scheduled pick-up or collection time. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days and returned to the original payment card. If your bags have already been collected, you will not be refunded and you will be charged AED 40 per bag to return your bags to the original collection point. What happens if my flight is disrupted after I have checked in and my bags have been collected?
We’ll make sure that your bags are loaded onto the flight that you have been re-booked to or off-loaded and returned to you at a fee of AED 40 per luggage piece.
I’m flying with Air Arabia but connecting with a partner airline, can I book home check-in?
Yes, if the first flight of your journey is operated by Air Arabia. Remember, your baggage allowance may differ on flights operated by our partner airlines. Your ticket will have full details of the baggage allowance for each part of your journey.
What do I do when I do not get a slot for Home Check-In service?
