How Does Home Check-In Work?
- Register and book: Register to book the Home Check-in if you’re a first-time user.
- We’ll collect your bags: Book your time slot, and our agents will arrive at your location in Sharjah 24 to 06 hours before your flight.
- Make your way to the airport: Skip the queues and head straight to your gate. You will receive your bags at your final destination.
- Collect your bags at your destination: Your bags will be ready and waiting for you when you land at your destination.

With Home Check-In, skip the airport queues and head directly to the gate. Our service ensures that your bags are collected from your home, hotel, or office in Sharjah, allowing you to travel to the airport bag-free.
Our agents will weigh your bags at your location before they’re checked in. If you need to pay for extra baggage or make any adjustments, you can handle everything on the spot.
Your bags will be securely stored until they are loaded onto your flight, and you’ll receive real-time updates through our app, tracking your bags at every stage of your journey.
Home check-in packages
With Home Check-In, you only need to pay for the number of bags you want to check, regardless of the number of passengers. Simply choose how many bags you would like us to collect—whether cabin or checked baggage—and select the package that fits your needs.
Should you exceed the ticketed baggage allowance for any guest, you can effortlessly pay for any excess baggage.
For additional luggage, a fee of AED 20 will apply for each extra bag, in accordance with the airline’s baggage policy. This service is currently available in its first phase, covering various areas within the city of Sharjah only, ensuring easy access for a wide segment of passengers.

Who is eligible to book Home Check-In?
Home Check-In service is available to all passengers flying from Sharjah Airport on selected airlines (listed separately) Our team will check you in from your home or hotel within a 40 km radius of the airport.
Home Check-In is not available for:
- Unaccompanied minors
- Passengers requiring medical assistance
- Passengers travelling with pets and live cargo
- Unconfirmed bookings

I live in another Emirate but I’m travelling with Air Arabia from Sharjah airport. Can I book Home Check-In?
No, at this time, this service is only available in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Can I track my bags?
Yes, you can track your luggage through the SHJ Home Check-In app or our web booking portal Some SMS Messaging will also be available.

Does Home Check-In include transport to the airport?
No, Home Check-In does not include transport to the airport. You will need to arrange your own transportation after your bags have been collected.

Can I add more bags or pay for extras like an upgrade?
Yes! you can pay for all extras, including excess baggage and upgrades, when you check in with our Home Check-in agent. Credit card is the only accepted method of payment.

Can I make changes to my Home Check-In booking?
Yes, changes can be made up to six hours before your scheduled collection time. For a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled booking. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days and returned to the original payment card. If your bags have already been collected, no refund will be provided, and a fee of AED 40 per bag will be charged to return them to the original collection point. What happens if my flight is disrupted after I have checked in and my bags have been collected?
We’ll make sure that your bags are loaded onto the flight that you have been re-booked to or off-loaded and returned to you at a fee of AED 40 per luggage piece.

I’m flying with Air Arabia but connecting with a partner airline, can I book home check-in?
Yes, if the first flight of your journey is operated by Air Arabia. Remember, your baggage allowance may differ on flights operated by our partner airlines. Your ticket will have full details of the baggage allowance for each part of your journey.

Our service operates daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, allowing you to schedule your check-in at home up to eight hours before your flight. During booking, you can select your preferred time for our team to arrive at your location and complete the check-in process.
