Air Arabia Egypt to start flights to Riyadh & Dammam in Saudi

Air Arabia Egypt announced today that it will start direct services to the Cities of Riyadh and Dammam, KSA from the carrier’s main hub in Burj Al Arab International Airport, Alexandria. The airline will start flights to Riyadh on June 9, 2011 and to Dammam on June 11, 2011.

Air Arabia ends year on a high with fleet expansion

Air Arabia, the first and largest low cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, announced it has taken delivery of its sixth A320 aircraft in 2012. The carrier took delivery of its latest A320 at the Airbus facility in Toulouse, France and the new aircraft has gone straight into service across Air Arabia’s network of 82 destinations. 

Air Arabia has now received 14 of the 44 A320 aircraft it has ordered from Airbus in 2007. The delivery of the 44 new aircraft will be completed by 2016, and will more than double the size of Air Arabia’s fleet.

Air Arabia enhances online offering, launches all new website

Equipped with a number of features intended to make flying with Air Arabia even more pleasant experience, the new website provides quick and easy guide allowing passengers to plan and book at the convenience of their fingertips. 

Air Arabia enters 13th destination in Saudi Arabia with Tabuk service

Air Arabia announced today the launch of regular services to Tabuk, which marks the airline’s 13th destination in Saudi Arabia and 114th globally.   

Starting August 20, 2015, the leading low-cost carrier will operate services on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights will leave Sharjah International Airport at 09:20 and reach Tabuk Regional Airport at 11:20. Return flights will take off from Tabuk on the same day at 12:10 and touch down in the UAE at 16:05. 

Air Arabia enters China

Air Arabia will create another piece of history next month when it becomes the first low-cost airline from the Middle East and Africa to enter the Chinese market. Starting on February 10, 2015, the carrier will fly regular non-stop services to Urumqi, the largest city in Western China.

Air Arabia expands operations in Saudi Arabia; launches new flights to Abha

Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, announced the launch of non-stop services to Abha in Saudi Arabia, from its primary hub in Sharjah. 
 
The new service from the carrier’s primary hub in Sharjah marks Air Arabia’s eighth destination in the Kingdom and 85th worldwide. Beginning May 22, 2013, Air Arabia will offer three weekly flights to Abha, making it easier and convenient for passengers to travel between the two cities.
 

Air Arabia extends availability of mobile application to Android

Air Arabia has extended its mobile reach with the launch of its smartphone application on Android. The Air Arabia app, which has been available on Apple iOS since last year, will now also be available to download on all android smartphones through Google Play.  

The free to download mobile application allows passengers to purchase tickets, review and amend bookings, as well as select seats using their smartphone. The app also provides customers with connectivity to the airline’s website and call centres, as well as offering an abundance of travel information.
