Abu Dhabi International Airport

Abu Dhabi International Airport was inaugurated in its current location on January 2nd, 1982. The airport is a major international gateway to the United Arab Emirates and one of the fastest-growing airports. It is served by over 30 global and regional airlines flying to over 102 destinations in 56 countries.

As the second-largest airport in the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi Airport has invested in developing extra terminals and a second runway which was completed in 2002.

Located in the heart of the capital city, Abu Dhabi International airport acts as a central point for passengers travelling to/from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. It is also connected to Dubai by a highway network, and commuting between the two emirates takes just a little over an hour.
