Travel Requirements to Saudi Arabia

Polio Vaccination Requirement
Passengers arriving from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kenya, Ethiopia or Somalia on or after 10th February must present a valid polio vaccination certificate issued at least 4 weeks prior to arrival. Exemptions apply to transit passengers who remain in the transit area for less than 12 hours.

Saudi citizens and residents are exempt from the vaccine requirement upon arrival in the Kingdom.

Mandatory Passenger Information for Travel to or from Saudi Arabia

As per regulatory requirements, all passengers traveling to or from Saudi Arabia are required to provide their Passport Number and Date of Birth (DOB) at the time of booking. These details are securely shared with the relevant authorities to facilitate compliance.

To ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey, please verify the accuracy of this information before confirming your booking to avoid any inconvenience on the day of travel.

Influenza Vaccine Requirement for Umrah & Hajj Passengers

For passengers traveling from the UAE to Saudi Arabia (for Umarh or Hajj, regardless of visa type), the influenza vaccine is mandatory and should reflect in the Alhosn App, unless it has already been taken within the last year.

Passengers with serious medical conditions and children below 1 year of age are exempt from this requirement.

Yellow Fever Vaccination Requirement

Passengers arriving from Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia on or after 10th February must have been vaccinated and hold a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate issued at least 10 days prior to arrival. Exemptions apply to children under 6 months and transit passengers who do not leave the transit area for less than 12 hours.
